Looks like in your owners manual...it's all spelt out, right there.

If you don't have an owner's manual, have your next oil / filter changed at an Infiniti dealer. They will provide you with the 60k mile checklist. You don't have to have anything done there, but at least you will have an idea of which things get inspected / replaced at 60k miles. They will also check all the regular stuff for free: brakes, tires, hoses, fluids, etc.

minhnguyen,

since it looks like this is your first post, we'll be kind, taken from the 2007 Maintenance Booklet:

Premium Maintenance (if money was no object, but considering what the stealership markup is on some of these services, honestly, you can do many of these things yourself) just look at the How To & DIY section + search 60k services and find out what other mechanics should charge you.

Replace engine oil and filter ++
Lubricate all locks/hinges +
Replace automatic transmission fluid +++
Replace climate controlled seat filter (M45/M35/Q45, if so equipped) +
Replace differential oil ++
Replace engine air filter +
Replace engine coolant/flush system +++
Replace engine drive belts ++
Replace in-cabin microfilter +
Replace manual transmission oil
Replace radiator cap +
Replace transfer case oil (4WD/AWD) ++
Replace wiper blades +
Rotate tires (except G35 Coupe, Sport) ++
Optional: flush automatic transmission (flush with ATF)

I put a (+) by all the items you should be able to do yourself with minimal mechanical inclination.
I put a (++/+++) by the items that take a little more know-how and with (relative) increasing difficulty, but with the DIYs, you could do it

Inspect the following:
__ All lights
__ Axle & suspension parts
__ Brake lines & cables
__ Brake calipers, pads, rotors
__ Brake light & cruise control switches
__ Drive shaft boots(4WD/AWD)
__ Exhaust system
__ Front suspension ball joints
__Fuel lines/connections
__Fuel tank vapor vent system hoses
__Headlights/adjust if necessary
__Propeller shaft (4WD/AWD)
__Steering gear and linkage
__Steering linkage ball joints

Schedule 1 and 2 Maintenance
Schedule 1:
Schedule 1 features the same 3,750-mile
service intervals as Premium Maintenance;
however, with Schedule 1 fewer maintenance
items are regularly checked or replaced than
with the Premium Maintenance schedule.

Use Schedule 1 if you primarily operate your vehicle
under any of these conditions:
• Repeated short trips of less than 5 miles in normal temperatures or less than 10 miles in freezing temperatures
• Stop-and-go traffic in hot weather or low speed driving for long distances
•Driving in dusty conditions or on rough, muddy, or salt-spread roads
• Towing a trailer, or using a camper or car-top carrier

Schedule 2:
Schedule 2 features 7,500-mile
service intervals; with Schedule 2 fewer maintenance items are regularly checked or replaced than with Schedule 1.
Generally, Schedule 2 applies only to highway driving in temperate conditions. Use Schedule 2 only if
you primarily operate your vehicle under conditions other than those listed in Schedule 1.

Replace engine oil and filter
Replace climate controlled seat filter (M45/M35/Q45, if so equipped)
Replace engine air filter
Replace in-cabin microfilter
Rotate tires (except G35 Coupe, Sport)

Inspect the following:
__ Automatic transmission fluid
__ Axle & suspension parts
__ Brake lines & cables
__ Brake calipers, pads, rotors
__ Brake light and cruise control switches
__ Differential oil
__ Drive shaft boots(4WD/AWD)
__ Exhaust system
__ Front suspension ball joints
__ Fuel lines/connections
__ Fueltankvapor ventsystem hoses
__ Propeller shaft (4WD/AWD)
__ Steering gear and linkage
__ Steering linkage ball joints
__ Manualtransmission oil
__ Transfer case oil (4WD/AWD)

I do a mix between Premium and Schedule 1, (premium on the high wear and tear items - engine oil/transmission/brakes) but I do many of the maintenance items myself, not only because it's cheaper, but also because I take pride in working on my car and the satisfaction knowing the job was done RIGHT.

good luck and welcome to NICO!

new oil, filter, air filter and off you go. unless your belts show signs of cracking, leave them alone. everything else is good to have but not necessary. when you're closer to 100k, you should definitely change belts, all fluid (brake, transmission, diff), spark plugs, O2 if your mileage is horrible even when you drive like a grandma.

rotating or replacing tires depending on wear and tread life. of course, if you are mechanically incline, then do everything on the list.

there is a maintenance manual on this forum that you can and should download. it will be great reference material even if you do not do the work on your car yourself.
