Infiniti M35/45 Service Manual CD

I've noticed that you can now order the Service manual for the 2007 Infiniti M35. Is it worth the $210.00 plus shipping for the CD? Does the CD actually cover repairs or does it say to take the vehicle to a qualified dealer? Would anyone know if Chilton has a manual out for the M35x?

A cheaper solution is to get the downloaded PDF files from their official web site http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/infiniti. This way, you can also get the TSB's and the cost is low enough that you can return there later, for another $20, and get the TSB's regularly - I do this once a year.

This site costs about $20 for 24 hours access ... so use a decent speed Internet link, get yourself some lemonade and a good book, and be prepared to do all the files at one swell foop.

How many different files (pdf) do you have to download to get the entire service manual for a given car (2004 M45)? Is this the full svc manual (illustrations on how to disasemble dash, trunk, engine, etc.)?

For the 2003 and 2004 M45, it is 41 files (approximately 116 Mbytes).

For 2006 M35/45, it is 44 files (approximately 197 Mbytes).

The TSB's are an additional 85 files - or more by now, possibly, since the last time I looked was over a year ago (approximately 27 MBytes).

And, yes, these are the full Service Manuals from Nissan/Infiniti.
