I would put in parentheses that the 2825 are basically 194's..otherwise looks good

Will do. I'll also add other 'similar sizes' since V-Leds lists that most 194, 168, and 158 (for example) bulbs are interchangeable.

I got sick of the number of threads about HID's/bulb sizes lol.

I also use V-Leds.com for all of my LED's and have been doing so for years. Never been disappointed. The only problem I have is they are in WA and it takes a week to get their stuff lol. I wish they were in NY.

on the list above for the 2006 M

I think you should add the 2 rear map lights (1 on top of each rear door)

they are 31mm festoon bulbs.

921 is typically a much larger bulb in general, but the base might be the same, hence why some guys use 194's instead.

very nice dude thanks - I have a question - I gotz an 06 M35x, and I'd LOVE to make my parking lights brighter - you mentioned above:

Parking light: 2825 (many folks including myself are running 194's)

Where'd you get your 194s and where/how can I get them?!?!? Been needing to brighten up my parking lights badly (assuming that's what you did???

You can get em from any LED shop like VLeds.com. I think 158, 168 and 194 are interchangeable as well.

Has anyone found a compatible LED replacement for the visor vanity bulbs?--they're small, about 4-5 mm wide and only about 24 mm long. When i searched for info, there was one post from someone who had trouble finding a regular replacement bulb.

the few LED vanity light replacements i've found on the internet were too long--usually about 29 to 31 mm in length

IlyaKol, would you be kind enough to 1) take a look at this link (below) and tell me what you think and 2) tell me which LED you bought to replace your parking lights?

I'm looking for the brightest replacement parking bulbs/LEDs, I think these are what I want. I know the 6ks have a blue tint, thats cool, I just want real bright lights:

thanks dude - you're a major ++ on this forum...

I have a question. I just bought a 2006 M45 sport. The drivers side headlight is out. I'm guessing just bulb replacement. My manual says H1 55w Xenon...So I'm guessing I need to buy these bulbs and replace both? I thought they were HID's...IfI wanted to change to HID like others on here, I would need a H1 to HID ballast and bulb kit? I want to have the right bulbs here since it's so time consuming to change the dang light bulb, and asd of right now, no night driving....

Your lights (if they are yellowish) are not HID. Thus the H1. HID bulbs are the D2S kind.

Just go to DDM Tuning.com and get an H1 4300k (to be OEM like) or 6000k (slight hint of blue) kit and call it a day.

Some on here will tell you DDM sucks, but I stand by em and will only get HID's from them.

Yea thats just it, They sure look HID to me...But the damn manual is saying its a H1....I guess since I got to change I will just go with HID anyways. If I got to replace one, I might as well replace both. Jack up, tires off, and access through fender right? I want a bright white look...So if I go with HID I guess I would need to get the plug in ballast to HID kit

On DDM its giving me the option of H1 but 5000k lights?

Ok so went to my local shop and they confirmed I had HID's. So I ordered Philips D2s 6000k Bulbs, also HID kit 6000K for foglights, I ordered new foglights since one of mine is cracked, I ordered aplug and play Nav hack as well. They are going to install all plus the cost of the Foglight HID only for $275. Nav hack $110, HID bulbs $70, new fog lights $110. Total for all, around $565

Well Got everything done, but of course, the headlight was a bit of a snag. Come to find out my driver side OEM ballast is blowing my fuse. I tried to get one from the dealership, but once they quoted me almost $600 for one ballast, I decided to order another aftermarket kit for the headlights and change them out....

I almost tend to think its better to not order any upgrades on your vehicle. Just get aftermarket parts...because if anything goes out thats OEM it cost 2x, 3x, 5x as much!!
