Well now you've got me wondering why fortune cookies are shaped that way. Could be for the very same(ish) reason!

Yep, the comparison seems poignant. Infiniti has been floundering for several years and many of us are hoping for a message that they'll turn things around.

For years Infiniti did no advertising. I found my local dealer by accident. I wanted to drive to Santa Monica on the word of mouth that there was a dealership there that cared even though they did no advertising. On the way I drove by a [gasp] Infiniti dealer on Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance. Turns out he was the local recipient of Nissan USA car pool vehicles. They had an agreement to dispose of Nissan's car pool vehicles. Lucky me ! They had the car I wanted in a very agreeable color with extra installed goodies for the boss' amusement and at a good price.

By the way, sales even at this location were so bad [wonder why] that the dealer subsequently relocated 3 times. They currently do advertise, hope that saves their butts.

You can't buy what you don't know exists. Advertising 101.

Yep!

"Local" Infiniti dealer around here didn't start advertising until after the French takeover.

They do have the best Nissan service department in any dealer in the state.
But that's probably because they're the ONLY Infiniti DEALER IN THE STATE. I'm sure that's great for sales and customer retention. Oh, yeah, you live in St George (the wealthiest non-SLC-area city in the state)? Well you can drive 8 hours for service! Or just go to Las Vegas (much closer).

Lavery Infiniti was the only dealer around the D, they had a lot of complaints, including me, I told the Zone guy what they tried on me, he’s Porsche, and Audi now, it was Audi and Infiniti.
I only had the car at Suburban twice, but both times were nice experiences.
