Infiniti logo on Pathfinder dash display screen???

I've been having problems with my USB connection (MID-AUDIO w/o BOSE) so the dealer technician ran the "AV Control Unit Self Diagnosis" as per the service manual, but then he also performed the "Factory Reset".

ISSUE 1: That said, my display screen now shows the Infiniti logo on startup instead of the Nissan logo. How do I change it back?

ISSUE 2: A more serious change however, is that my climate controls do not work now. The temp. is locked at 32C and the fan is at max - I can't adjust either setting. Likewise, I can't control the rear climate control from the front.

I don't see a solution in the FSM anywhere?!! The DEALER TECHNICIAN DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO REVERSE THIS!!?? And he claimed that he couldn't get through to Nissan Technical Support because the phone line was too busy???



Can anyone suggest a solution?

Welcome aboard.

I'd be speaking to the Service Manager. They'd better find you a suitable loaner to drive until they figure out the problem. Don't settle for their excuses, and remind them that the phone issue is their problem, not yours.

Update:

When I activate the "System Diagnostic Menu" and then enter the "Confirmation/Adjustment" sub-menu, all of the various submenus work (Display Diagnosis, Vehicle Signals, Speaker Test, etc.) except for the Climate Control adjustment - I click on "Climate Control" and nothing happens - no options appear, just a beep and no change on the screen.

Take it back, park it in the service drive, and don't leave until thy give you a loaner and a promise to make it right. Simple.
