Makes no sense at all! Definitely a bad move!

After reading the latest statement, I can understand where they are coming from. At some point they had to do something, and this was the best option. In the end, it does not change the greatness of their vehicles.

It is not just Infiniti that is doing this, BMW and Mercedes are as well. Apparently in the age of smaller displacement making more power efficiently is the way to go, but in the minds of the customers, they always want numbers to go forward, not backwards. In MB, the new E and S class AMG63 models are actually 5.5L twin turbo V8's vs the 6.2L NA V8, but the AMG 55 series models were a previous moniker for the AMGs before the 63's came along.
