I recently bought a J30 at 135 k miles and I love my car:D I'm trying to replace the spark plugs, any idea where they are located in the engine???

Ummmm.....they would be in the heads, like every other internal combustion engine.

Have you ever done this before? With an aluminum head? Very easy to cross thread or over torque, very expensive to repair if you do. Do it by the book with correct lubricants, plugs and torque wrench.

The plugs are located under the individual ignition packs (proper term?). Replace with OEM plugs only.

they are deep down in there and are a bit of a pain to replace. you'll need a long extension to reach down there. I also recommend a good spark plug socket that grips the plug real good so it doesn't fall back down in there.Like everyone here said, OEM plugs, and torque wrench.

yes use ONLY the OEM NGK's.
