does anyone know how to remove the exaust silencer on my car??? or where it is at??? apparently if you do this it will sound like a 300zx

The can at the back end of the car is a resonator.Think that's what your talking about.

I actually removed my resonator for for a while and it really lets the motor roar. I put it back on due to emissions because the tail pipes need to be past the tires.

which one of the mufflers do i actually take off to make it sound like that?

The resonator is at the rear of the car.

Closer to the engine are the cats and pre mufflers.

I actually removed it to get it repaired but i liked the sound so it stayed off the J.

It took quite a bit of liquid wrench to loosed the bolts up, if that does not work try the Bee's wax method.

Did you run pipes to the rear ??
