Hello. I did search for answers to this question before I started this new post.

I just purchased a pre-owned Infiniti I35, and the cabin's cooler/heater fan makes a buzzing sound. I posted this question at the Yahoo Infiniti forum, and I was asked to open the fan assembly behind the glove box and see if there was an obstruction there. I tried, but couldn't figure out how. I am looking for a technical resource to tell me how to open the glove box and get access to the fan assembly.

On another note, I was testing all the fuses to see if any were blown and after pulling out and putting back all of them, the 'Service Engine Soon' light came on. Have I done something bad? What can I do to make it go away, short of going to a dealer?

Thanks,Hakim

Welcome to NICO!

you have to physically remove the glovebox in order to get to the blower motor.... It shouldnt be difficult, if you cant figure it out I can post diagrams on how to do it...

Wes is correct that you'll need to remove the glovebox since the fan motor will most likely be right behind it. Here's a link to your Factory Service Manual (FSM). You should be able to find some good instructions in the Body section of the manual. Good luck.
