OEM alternator from IoS, http://www.infinitipartsusa.com,at 25% off MSRP is @ $263 while a compatible one from AutoZone is $260 (less core price). If you are a DIY guy, you ahve 3 choices:-1.Remove the alternator and have it repaired at an electrical shop. Usually, a bad alternator is caused by bad power diodes. Repair cost is $50 or more.-2. Buy the replacement alternator from Ios and keep the old alternator.-3. Buy from AutoZone or the likes and turnover the old alternator (core). Please note that the quality of some aftermarket alternators are questionable. Once I bought an alternator from Kragen - I have to replace it 3 times until I got a good one. They have a replacement warranty but it's no fun doing it 3 times.
