Infiniti I30 wiper blade chatter

My 1999 Infiniti I30 has only 50k on it and is in mint condition. The only problem it has is that the drivers side wiper blade chatters every time it rains to such an extent that it barely wipes off the rain.

I have tried new wiper blades, cleaning the windshield with everything from detergent to alcohol, and switching my blades around. The dealer only offered to replace the wiper bushings but I have never heard of doing that, besides, they couldn't reassure that it would change anything. Anything I do only fixes the problem for a short time. Any suggestions?

Make sure that the wiper bracket is in good shape, that nothing is bent, too loose, or too tight, and that the blade is allowed to flex properly when it is installed.

You also might want to try replacing the spring in the wiper hinge. A stronger spring might keep the blade from chattering.

Sorry, but I had to edit your post. I can't stand when Infiniti is spelled with a "y"...just a neurotic tendency (one of many).
