Hi from nissan maxima/cefiro/infiniti owners club Russia!

I wanna change my stock subwoofer in Infiniti I30 2001.I bought new 20cm "free-air" type sub, and new amplifier.

Question: where can i find RR and RL line outs to connect my new amplifier?

I think I can get it between the headunit and stock 4-channel amplifier...What colour are the whires?

Thanks in advance!

There's no good way to create an RCA output except to splice into left and right speaker wires and rig up your own. Its probably easiest to splice into the speaker wires at the Bose amp in the trunk (If you have the Bose system).

Wire diagrams/color codes can be found here: http://forums.maxima.org/forumdisplay.php?f=21 You'll have to do a little searching though...

Thanks!

But i have some questions...

You mean, I can splice into the left and right rear speaker wires and use "low/high impendance adaptor" like this: (to create an RCA output?) But in this case i`ll bring high impendance signal. Because of the "adaptor" usage the sound quality will worsen.

I think that i can get low impendance signal in whires "headunit-amp" also in the trunk... Cant i?

Yes, i have the BOSE system, and my 2001 I30 from Miami In Russia (and Europe) there is only Nissan Maxima (not like in USA) - full analogue of I30, but without Bose. That`s why i can`t find wire diagrams/color codes.

My technical english is not good, so please, give me the link to "wire diagrams/color codes" for I30 2000-

You could go with an adapter if you want to, but its not necessary. If you want to do it cheaply, just buy a cheap set of RCA wires, cut off the female end, and splice the male end into the rear speaker wires.

Also, our cars have a speaker saver function that turns the bass down when you turn the volume up. Unfortunately there's no way around that. It's annoying, but if you adjust the volume on your woofer's amp accordingly you should be fine.

Here's a link to the wire diagrams: zerothread/157919
