I hope they never dream of it. Nissan needs to have some serious Alzheimers to ensure this idea of a 4 door monster never ever comes to existence.

I was just telling the GF last night that i would love a GTR but would rather have an INFINITI Badge on the front lol.

And a Sedan would be sweet.

Hey and if they do the sedan in INFINITI style... IT will be faster than the Coupe anyway!

FTR I think it would be better to have both a Sedan and Coupe Version as it would appeal to more people and give them more sales.

That way if you need a 4 door saloon you can get one and still be fast and if you don't need the 4 door saloon you can get a 2 door coupe lol

They won't make it as a coupe because the GT-R is already pretty luxurious. I mean everything is trimmed in leather and suede and it comes with SAT-NAV and all that....what else could they add to justify the price bump?

I could see the 4 door version as Infiniti want's to compete with the German uber sedans like the M3/5 and AMG E/C 63. Unless they do a G50 coupe/sedan, which would fill the place of a 4 door GT-R and a 2 door luxury super coupe.

Think about it, the GTR is a cult car, and cult cars are not very good in value when parts of it is cannibalized into other models.

I feel Nissan should keep the GTR as is, in the minds of their buyers. If they ever choose to make a G-50, then it must be aesthetically and performance-wise, be different from the GTR.

And any four door sedan they are planning, must look close to the G-35 Coupe/Sedan as possible than it would a GTR.

I think your looking at it wrong... There is no such thing as Infiniti in Japan in terms of car branding, so I would imagine the Infiniti GTR would actually be a GTR version of the new Skyline (the next one, not 370GT)....

So, there is a Nissan GTR, and then there would be a Nissan Skyline Coupe/Sedan GTR. I highly doubt they would introduce yet another new model.

I think that makes more sense.

I think it will stay a Nissan, and never become an Infiniti. If you look at it, the R30, R31, R32, R33, R34, and R35 (new GTR) have all been Nissan products. The V35 is the first that shared branding of the Skyline/G35. Now I know that the R35 isn't a Skyline, but you get my point. I think that if and that's a big if, they were to release it as an Infiniti, it would be changed and gayed out the same way the V35 was as compared to the R34.

No offense, I love my car, but compared to the R34, the V35 is pretty lame.

They have to keep comming out with beast to keep the #1 place. Now corvetteZR1 out ran the GT-R(base) on the ring by 2 seconds. V spec GT-R had non confirmed time 5 seconds better then the base so that would be 3 second faster. Now Audi comes out with the R8 v10 and they said ready to beat the ring.

C'mon Nissan just put 2 more doors on the GT-R and it should be faster.
