just finished reading this, obviously written by a BMW fanatic that can't relinquish the crown...

the G35 was peppier and more refined than the older 3 series from BMW... and the G37 does the same thing in my opinion...

they actually called the cockpit of the g37 too busy,,, well to a bimmer it would be, and that's because BMW owners are use to the boring, plain, 1970's looking did i say BORING interior.... honestly, I sat inside the driver's seat of the 100,000+ M6, and it felt like I was still sitting in the 328i... no thrills, no excitement, no nothing, just plain boring... even Lexus greets you with a color animated welcome screeen when you get in the drover's seat...

I say G37 takes this head to head matchup... what say the rest of you?

G37 all the way. I'm sick of this magic BMW crap. Great cars...but not leading the way anymore.

g37 has great handling. don't know about recent bmws but they are supposedly more connected to the road and more precise.

btw the bmw interior = SUCKS .

it's been the same crap for years. infinit definitly wins over it

idk, BMW has that classic look and it looks really nice to me and the infiniti has a really nice interior.... honestly if the 335i didnt have that engine, i'd say G37 BUT because it does have that engine, i'm going 335i. just a $350 tune in a 335i and its at 430 hp, thats insane... G37 engine is nice too but i like the 335i engine better. everything else, i say G37.

Drop the 335 block in the G37 body and tell me where to sign. Maybe if BMW learned how to design a car interior to not look like your grandparents living room it would be more appealing to the younger generation.

"always been".. dude, the 335 has only been out for a couple of years

also, isn't mercedez a german car?? the interior of mercedez doesn't look like an old folks home!

Handling wise, true, BMW set the standard, but have you ever driven a G37 sedan? The handling of it is not too shabby either.

I hear you, and actually, one of my buddies that owned a GTR didn't like the "video gane" feel that you speak of.. I think you're spot on there...

but the interior of a 100,000 car shouldn't look like the intrerior of a 29,000 car IMO... plain and boring doesn't even begin to describe the interior of a BMW..

think about it, you spend your time driving your car... IN THE INSIDE... so why not make it look nice???? you don't have the outside of your home look beautiful, and the inside look like hot garbage, so why do it with a car that costs the same as a small house???

Yeah I did drive g37 sedan when my dad was buying one but he cross shopped it with a 535 cause size wise g37 hands down and I don't know man I was in a c300 the other day and the interior wasn't as nice as g. matter a fact my step dad (bigbucks) was buyIng a car for my mom and comparing the interiors between x5 and the comparible merc I think it was the gl no comparison more leather less rubber of course the x5 was loaded with the mpackage a stuff I love that car lol and " always been" like you said all BMW interiors in the us are the same. But it brings me back to the original idea behind BMW function before form cause there no fun in form. On a lighter note a quote from jeremy clarkson regarding the m6 "my god it's ulgy... But under that bonnet it's not an engine that my friends is an atomic bomb" I would by g37coupe over 335 coupe just cause I like how the g sounds but sedan I would go with the 335 simply because it's more compact By the way doc if you could shoot me an email of how to apply to medschool I'm in my second year. Of biomedical engineering but I heard it never to soon to start think about it

i would take the 335i any day. i think it is such a beautiful car inside and out. i don't like the g37 one bit, i actually think they killed the look of the G. the G35 was such a sexier car, but when the new G37 i couldn't stand they look, and I still can't.

so 335i all the WAYY.

i like the G35 back better then the G37 back even tho they are similar. from the front, the G35 was a bit outdated and the G37 made it a lot nicer... sound wise, am i the only one that noticed the 370z and G37 dont sound as good as the 350Z and G35? i know the 37 is faster and greater and blah blah blah but it lost the sexy sound...

we are all entitled to our opinions good sir, however, not even BMW owners agree with you on that one.. inside, the from the 29K 328i to the 100K M6, they are plain and boring.... and that statement even comes from die hard bimmers...

this statement makes me really wonder if you've ever actually been inside of a BMW... there is NOTHING impressive about the interior... never has been!

well when it comes to interior, i honestly don't care much because I'm not into looks of an interior when it comes to cars in my opinion.

i care about the engine, body lines, and handling! that engine is one of the most reliable and strongest engines out there and the look of the 335 is just unbelievable in my opinion. my mom had the coupe for over a year now and i still can't believe we own one and it's in our driveway... and i can drive it whenever i want!!!

335 is nice. Lots of power and good lines. One thing I like across the BMW line-up is that all of their cars have a nice stance, without wheel gaps. My G37 coupe has a gap I don't like in front and most other Infiniti and Nissan's have have wheel gap that BMW's don't. Of course, the 335i comes at a premium price over the G37 which leads to aftermaket improvements if you so desire and you can still have a lower-cost vehicle afterward.

These is copied from BMW forum. I think that summs up how most of them feel. After 3 years they still have the same issue with fuel pump.

And this is another knock against the 335...its a great car, but its reliability sucks, and there are new alternatives coming up

If i was in the market, i might go with another car and sacrifice a little performance, simply b/c i know i won't be left stranded somewhere. Whats the point of a sports car daily driver mix(like a 3 series) when you can't depend on your car daily
