I am looking into putting a stock 2011 Infiniti IPL front bumper on my 2008 G37s. Has anyone heard of anyone doing this? I think it would make my G37s look awesome while retaining a somewhat stock look.

Yes you can but the IPL is the same as the anniversary bumper which can be had in more colors (not limited to the two IPL color codes). You will need a newer model window washer container from a 2011, fog lights, pig tails for the fog lights, and lower grilles.

RED_DET here can help you with pricing and such as he has sold a couple at this point: http://www.tunerzstore.com

Taxman,

Did you put this IPL bumber on your G37S? If so, can you describe what you went through?

The bumper fits fine. As mentioned above there are a couple of considerations and additional parts to buy. Numerous people have done it and I've considered it at least.

I read in one place that I'd need to buy new headlights, is that true?
Talking about the main lamps, not the fog lamps. Speaking of the fog lamps, is there any OEM or aftermarket grills to put in their place if I didn't want to install the fogs?

Headlights between the 2008-2012 coupe should be the same exterior design. Sedan and coupe are different.

I don't think there are filler panels available for the fogs so you'd have to make some yourself or go ahead and put fogs in. Not positive tho.

So you don't need new headlights to put the IPL bumper on a 08-09 G37S coupe?

all lights from 08-2012 use the same headlights. only difference is 2011+ came with black chrome and non-integrated fog lights as the fog lights were in the bumper.
