Infiniti G35x Driver Side Door won't open

Can anyone help me please? I have a 2007 G35x and my driver side door will not open from the inside or outside. The key doesn't work and I am not even sure I can fix it with the door being locked shut. The handle on the outside feels slightly loose as well. Thank you in advance.

to see the mechanical workings of the door.

I've heard of outside handles failing because the "cylinder lock rod" falls off, or sometimes the handle breaks at it's own hinge points. But it seems unusual that both inside and outside have quit working at the same time unless the "doorlock assembly" itself has busted. Good luck.
