Does anyone know what's the reason for front tire cupping [uneven deep wear] that seems to be a Nissan 350Z and an Infiniti G35 coupe common problem. The dealerships claim that this is an alignment problem and not a design issue. I disagree. Three front tires changes because of cupping while the tire treads themselves are still quite unworn, tells me that it IS a design flaw.My question is this: does any one of you, fellow Infinti lovers, know who to contact, or has a solution to this problem? Thanks.Joseph

I recall dealers having to do a realignment or whatever suspension tweak was necessary when the news story about tire wear on Z's came out.

I'd ask the dealer to do a free alignment check/adjustment. As long as your car has a stock suspension, there's no reason they shouldn't do that under warranty.

Thank you for responding.I already have gone through three tire changes and even with the front tire alignment, I still wond up with cupped tires which produce annoying thudding noise at low speeds and a loud hum at high speeds....take careJoseph

G's and 350 spec camber is slightly negitive it the rear (the bottom end of the tire moves furher away from the car and the top of the tire moves towards the car) i dint notice it till I put on my new rims and now i can really see it, but the alignment rack tells me im in spec. kinda sucks because of the tire wear problem, but its normal

they come with negative camber from the factory. I noticed that doing an alignment would help a little but not much since the front camber can't be adjusted so it really doesn't fix it. all years of the coupes do it. even the 07's.
