I give you a week in the car with the intake system and you will forget all about stock. And selling the car too!

I think your best bet may be ebay. You can pick up a used one from someone who installed the Injen or some other CAI.

Economical has NOTHING to do with it...the car's just plain fun to drive. And I just installed and Ingen intake in my car too -- it has shown that it produces more power and uses less fuel to boot.

If you really want good gas milage get a bike or take the bus. The intake does help a little bit on gas mileage, compared to stock, but compared to a Scion no you will get better gas mileage in the Scion 4cy vs 6cy. But if you are comparing the Scion with the Infiniti why would you have purchased the G in the first place? Now if you just like "Stock" that is cool I know a few people who like the "Stock look" and I must say when all you see are tricked out rides a stock version is kind of refreshing. Especially when you are talking about 10 plus years down the road.

I'm afraid I have to agree -- comparing the G to a Scion is like comparing apples and oranges. But yes, I did see an increase in gas mileage -- just a mile or two per gallon -- but every little bit helps these days! But I don't just have an Ingen CAI -- I also got a Kinetix intake manifold to go with it. And I also like the sound I get now from the intake side of the engine -- a little louder, but very cool!
