Infiniti G20/ transmission interchange

I have a 99 infiniti g20 with a automatic trans. non LSD my reverse is going out.. its hard to find these cars.. what other transmissions will interchange with this car thanks

Any auto transmission from a transverse SR20DE car should work. Sentra SE-R, NX2000, or non-US SR20 vehicles (Primera, etc.). Whatever you get will most likely need a thorough rebuild. I'd suggest calling local junkyards and asking if they have any G20s with an intact drivetrain.

Edit* First I'd suggest seeing how much a rebuild of your existing transmission would cost. How long since you did a full trans flush and replaced the fluid?

Didn't we just have a thread a few months ago about a guy that was getting some sort of transmission work done and swapping parts?
