hi, i got the infiniti fx50, i would appreciate if any1 can help me regarding the camera system.

is there a way to activate the camera and sensors automatically when the car slow down in the D-gear instead of pressing the camera button everytime??

usually the camera and sensors are switched on only in gear "R" or if the car is moving slowly, then i should press on the camera button to switch on the camera and sensors for the the front and side cameras.

unlike the bmw and lexus, the front and side camera will be switched on automatically in gear "D" when the car slows down to 20km or less

so is there any solution for the infiniti FX50 camera system??

thank you.

There is no way to activate the camera and sensors automatically in the D gear, you have to do this manually by (camera) button, it's only work automatically in R gear, this is the bad side of the new FX camera system, but i think it's still the best in all systems.

I'm a little late to this party, but will this activate the front camera as indicated at slow speed,or just turn it on. I suppose it can be undone as well, correct?

Sounds a little like "stand on on foot, spin around while barking like a dog and whistle dixie" :) Sorry, couldn't resist.

To the best of my knowledge there is no way to set that up without adding a switching device and some type of bypass. Which I would be skeptical about.

Why would you want that anyway?

Welcome to NICOclub! :wavey:

There actually is a method to view the camera/sensors when driving on your FX50. Please follow the following procedure to access this feature:

Here are the steps -

Access Diagnostic Mode
- Start Engine
- Turn OFF the Audio system
- While pushing the SETTING button, rotate the radio’s VOLUME control either clockwise or counter-clockwise 30+ clicks.
- You will then be put into the diagnostic mode.
- Now hold down the SETTING button and rotating the volume knob a 2nd time, stopping only when you see the word "detailed" appear next to the menu option "Confirmation / Adjustments", so it will now say "Confirmation / Adjustments (Detailed)".

View Camera/Sensors
-Choose "Confirmation / Adjustment (Detailed)"
-Scroll until you find the menu option "Camera Continuity". Select it.
-Select "Adjust Offset of Camera".

Let me know if you need any more information and, again, welcome to NICOclub! :)

Were you able to get into the Diag/Adjustments menu system and it's not there for the '09?

I will be able to get into Confirmation / Adjustment (Detailed)", but there is no menu option "Camera Continuity".

Only option is " Camera Cont " , once select, still no option of "Adjust Offset of Camera", I tried all the option in " Camera Cont " still can't find it.

Please help~~~~ Thank you very much
