I just found this on another forum, there is apparently a recall on 2003-2007 Infiniti FX's due to non-DOT compliant headlamps and taillamps. The exact problem has not been explained by Infiniti, but most FX owners are under the impression that it has to do with the fact that you cannot see ANY turn signals to the side of the FX; when you are changing lanes the person to the side cannot see that you are signalling to change lanes.

I looked up the headlamp recall info and found some information. Apparently, the recall is going to happen and will be replacing both headlamps and taillamps since they will do it at the same time.

This is not listed on the Infiniti site. The only recalls listed at this time pertain to 2003 modesl (propeller shaft and front brake calipers.

Yeah, well it looks like this is still hot off the press, and Infiniti is suppose to be sending out notice letters starting 12/18/06. Maybe they want to notify owners by letter before posting anything on their website?

Update: Apparently this only applies to certain VIN batches. I called Infiniti USA, Infiniti of Tucson and Infiniti of Scottsdale and they all said that my VIN was not one of the defective vehicles. So if you have an FX you should call your dealer or Infiniti USA to verify if yours is one of them.
