Infiniti Factory R&D survey

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

has anyone done any of the Survey from Infiniti, or 3rd party?because I had 2 calls after I got my EX35 in Jan.1st was a call that I missed, but left a VM on my cell. something about a 3rd party survey wanted to find out about my experiences with the Infiniti cars. it will be about 1 to 2 hours of survey, and I'll get $175 for it. I was too lazy, and thought there might be a catch, so I never called them back.then 2 weeks later, I got another call from my dealership, saying Infiniti Rep will be at their location, doing survey on the 2010 Navi system.if I go and take the survey, I will get paid $200 Cash card.so I went in today and did the survey. it wasn't even long, most people finished in 30 mins. I took a lil longer, cus I had a lot to say about all the like and dislike about the navi system. so it took me about 1 hour. and right away they gave me the $200 cash card. pretty good deal.easy and free cash!can't beat that.

anyone got one of those before? does this happen often with the infiniti cars?

Well I hope they call me! Honestly, you have to actively reach out to learn how customers feel about your product.

BMW did this for us on the X3 although no money changed hands. An engineer spoke to my wife about the car - asking about features she liked or disliked - suggestions she would have, questions about why things were done a certain way. My wife got a strong sense that BMW was committed to making a better car from the experience though. No one offered money though.

ya, I am really glad I got picked.I am very detailed on the Car I drive. So i've notice a lot of minor stuff on the Navi system, pretty much I told them all about it.that's why it took so long.they were pretty supperised that I had some of the issues I had.

Make sure you tell them to restore the "cat" icon to the icon database. It is on my 2009 g37 vert but has been replaced with a "camel" on the 2010. The cat sound is still available as a landmark chime. Otherwise no complaints other than wish the compute speed was faster - my g37 nav is lower resolution but quite a bit faster. The EX35 and g37 find different routes oddly enough.
