infiniti EX35 in Snow Road ~Thanks~

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hello everyone,

I am interested in infiniti EX35 AWD and I am in Cleveland, OH now.
I just wonder whether EX35 AWD could handle the snow road in Cleveland without snow tire.

Thanks. :)

I live in New York, I am not sure how much snow you get over there. I have an AWD EX35 with 17" Michelin tires (All season) with factory wheels and drove in a few snowstorms that have hit pretty hard (As little as 12 inches upto 38inches in my area). Honestly, compared previous AWD Mercedes and my current Honda Crosstour AWD, it is hands down WAY better and it feels so well controlled even at 40+ (Only if roads persmit ofcourse). Personally it was my first AWD car that I had not cursed out for getting my trapped in a middle of a storm (Was actually really fun and confident to drive in snowstorms, I made reasons to leave the house just to play around and toss around :naughty:). The snow mode does wonders as well, it helps you especially if your heavy footed. At the end of the day, with city and highway driving my tires still have more than 90% tread life on them as well with just below 14,000 miles (Maybe some people get better but for me its a miracle).

The Dunlops suck in the Winter, once they wear down.

As for Winter Tire choices, there are a few, if you have 18's on your EX35.

Punch your Tire Size into www.TIRERACK.com and see what comes up.
