While you are correct on this one, not since the debut of the GT-R in 1969 with the 4dr KPGC10 has a GT-R not been a Skyline. The next one will be the first time that Nissan has separated the two cars from each other. I think of it as somewhat a bold move on Nissan's part, but hopefully it will work.MinisterofDOOM wrote:It's not a Skyline anymore.
Wow, people sure talk a lot of shxt on this car considering:zoborax wrote:It doesn't matter guys! It's not even going to be a straight 6. Pluse it's going to run in the $70k's to $80k's, prices at which most of us cannot afford! Nissan USA is just trying to exploit us by bringing that rediculously expensive car here, while the FED gov't is laughing. I would much rather have a cheaper R33 or R32 GTR for a lot less money! Thank you again Uncle Sam!
Okay Mr. Moderator. You save your nickles and dimes to purchase the over-priced hunk of metal, and I'll spend magnitudes less for an r32 that will out-perform itHashiriyaS14 wrote:

A.) It isn't even out yet, and final specs haven't been released
B.) It will likely be a $60-70k (R34 Nur was like $60k) car with a 450hp twin-turbo V6, electrically-assisted turbos and ATTESA AWD. It will be the bargain of the century, relatively speaking. Remember, it's not like the last few GT-R's were $30k or anything like that, they've always been a lot more expensive than an Evo or an STI.
C.) Who cares if it's a straight 6 or not? What are people on about with this, the engine noise? Is it seriously that important? Heritage? Who cares! You want a Prince badge and a manual choke too?
It may work in the USA since the Skyline and Skyline GT-R don't have a "history" in this country. It'll be interesting to see how it goes over in Japan.C33LaurelRacer wrote:
