Why are there both listed as American Cars in the upper left corner?

Gran Turismo classifies brands by where their target market is. Infiniti is US-only, as well as Acura.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see the MB 190! I always thought of it as the bastard Benz that no one liked (except me).

190 E is one of the best cars MB has ever made. There are more people that like them than you would think. They have a huge following.

And what do you guys recommend I get, I am only going to buy one, and yes I can wait if I have to:

Should I get GTA San Andreas, or GT4?

Both. There is no way to choose if you enjoy cars AND homicide the way most of us do.

Oh man! That's a great idea for a game. The creators of GT4 and GTA should get together and combine the best of both worlds.

That would be cool. Having super-realistic looking cars that you could completely modify, and then you could look out your window while you're doing 160mph and bust a cap in someone.

That'd be pretty cool

But I don't think that the current PS2 is powerful enough to support the massive ammount of graphics info that would be required. I think that the next generation X-Box would be a good candidate for a game like this.

Hey, does anybody know if they are going to come out with GTA San Andreas or GT4 on Computer? Or is there a way to "copy" the game to the computer an play it? I would assume to copy and play them on computer you'd have to rip them in ISO format and then get a PS2 emulator, correct?

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas should be out for the PC this spring or summer. Otherwise, you need a PS2.

I actually test drove a 5 spd a few years back when I was looking for "used luxury". A friend of mine had a low mile 89 AT and the $$$$$$$$$$ that they was sucking in "old rubber part" repairs would choke a goat. In hindsight it's a fun car that you don't want to own.
