I nee the Shift Control Assembly for a 1995 Q45 Part No. 285540U02. It is located in the drivers side left kick panel. Both a 95 and 1996 unit will work. Please let me know if you have one ASAP

This forum is not the correct place to post "Parts Wanted"However welcome to NICO.........since your 1st post.

Try Sports and Imports 4658 S Old Peachtree Rd, Norcross - (770) 455-0457 they usually have a few 94-96 Q around for parts.

Welcome to NICO Terry. Let's make this thread work where you put it and ask what drove you to believe you need a Shift Control Assembly? You're missing a digit in the P/N so I'm going to guess you're looking for a Shift Lock Control Unit, P/N for a 94 is 28540-60U00 and it's a small green box.

You're the first NICO Q owner to ever need one of these so tell us your symptoms and we may be able to turn you in the right direction. On the other hand you could be a former Infiniti Master Tech working on the side who used a $4000 Consult to reach your conclusion and then I apologize for insulting your intelligence. Let us know.

(note to self: adjust the ACSD brake switch)

Sounds more like the TCU? Is that it? When I was in my driver's side kick panel I only saw the TCU.

Pull away the thin piece of grayish foam rubber behind the TCU and there's a cluster of relays and the controller Terry needs. There's a similar cluster of relays hidden behind foam on the passenger/ECU side also.

I don't think we're talking about a TCU. They're all P/N 31xxx-.

You are right Mike, he's missing a digit. Here are all the part numbers:

CONTROL ASSY - SHIFT LOCK

28540-60U00 - From 08/89 - 08/91 --> That part suspersedes to 28540-60U01

28540-60U01 - From 08/91 - 02/93

28540-60U02 - From 02/93 -
