For those that get it and not familiar:
P0774 - Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Intermittent / Shift (Solenoid E) Intermittent

Symptoms - Slow start, slipping

Causes
- Faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve
- Torque converter clutch solenoid valve harness is open or shorted
- Torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit poor electrical connection
- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
The P0774 Nissan code is detected when the gear required by the ECM does not match the actual gear when vehicle is driven.

Most of what I've seen is this is related to Nissan's service bulletin: http://www.autocodes.com/uploads/nissan/NTB09-148a.pdf

In there they mention what Nissan will do with this code:
ACTIONS
• Replace the Control Valve Assembly

So transmission from LKQ maybe flawless, but valvebody or solenoid appear to be bad.
Headed to LKQ again to find another and give that a go with another fluid flush.

**NOTE**
Also found to get the right filter for the inside I just tell Autozone its for a 2008 Dodge Caliber 2.4 (part number TF495) vs my 08altima that pulls the wrong internal filter (part number TF633) :werd: cheaper too! lol

I'll report back on this. Anyone that's been through similar please report back fix, wanna make sure I'm not wasting time on the valve body when the transmission is going (however it does shift NICE until that damn code).
Also wondering if "service bulletin" is the same as a recall or simply the "what to do with this problem" notes for Nissan techs?

The second one is correct, it's a "what to do" note. Occasionally they'll indicate additional measures that may need to be taken; there was a TSB regarding the RevUp version of the VQ engine some 350Zs came with consuming massive amounts of oil that led to some owners getting a brand new engine. But sometimes, as with the TSB that addressed tire feathering in early 350Zs it merely outlined new procedures regarding wheel alignments.

If you're ever curious about an actual recall just go here and enter your VIN.

It sounds like you've got your problem diagnosed and a good plan of attack. Keep us posted, it could help someone else in the future. All of us are smarter than one of us, that's what makes this all work. :badger
