Infamous Gas Smell

So wrote a post a little bit ago about a gas smell in my car so um yeah.. i need help or any past experiences with it if you guys had any... heres the facts:It's coming from the trunk (the gas tank)I can hear fizzing like the vapors are leaking outI replaced the fuel pumpI replaced the O rings for all 3 fuel lines on top of the tank.

any suggestions?

BUMPPPPP When i turn the air on and it is on for a bit i start to smell strong gas

If its coming through the vents I would think the leak is in the engine bay.

Yeah but the problem is that the smell isnt coming from the vents but i guess because the air is on and the windows are closed the smell lingers and gets stronger.. I definitely smell it in the trunk and i can hear fizzing.. Are there any lines back there that could be cracked, ect; or perhaps the tank it self is cracked?

Have you taken the panels off and took a good look at the tank and the hoses ??You said turning the AC on made the smell stronger so I assumed it was coming through the intake vents, which are at the base of the windshield , not in the trunk.

yes the smell gets stronger but i believe being as the gas tank is in the back.. The leak is pouring into the cabin and because the windows are closed it becomes strong.

Mine turned out to be the lines on top of the fuel pump were not tightened enough.
