Hello,

Ive notice that as of late, my clutch has been slipping something feirce.

Well, actually, its at the point where i have to drive like a grandma to get anywhere anymore. In first, it seems to hold alright... but if i give a good bit of gas it slips a little, but when i shift to second and third, if i give ANY power it just slips like none other :(

Im talking anything more than what seems a centimeter of pedal and the thing slips.

So naturally I'm assuming that my clutch has just seen the end of its days (99k miles, bought it at 73k, dont know how the previous owner drove it)

So now im in the market for a replacement clutch, but looking at all the high-quality racing/street clutches has me kinda down... they are all out of my price range. Being in between jobs at the moment leaves me with only $160 to spend on this necessary part.

So, does anyone have any suggestions on a clutch within the $160 mark that is of high quality? I understand if its not possible to get a decent racing/street clutch at this price, so im willing to bite the bullet and just get and aftermarket oem replacement type, I'm just wondering which would be the best bang for the buck.

Once i get a job and save up (read: few years from now) I plan on going turbo with my KA(probably wont ever go over 10psi with it though), so if its possible within $160 i'd like to get a clutch now that could accomodate that.

THanks in advance!

Stock/OEM or make your own clutch at Home Depot with saw discs and rivets.

Home Depot now sells roll cages too...made out of 2x4s
