INDY MEET, OCT 29. FINAL MEET OF SEASON!

When: Saturday, Oct. 29, meet should start around noon

Where: Fort Benjamin Harrison. there is a $4 entry for indiana residents, $5 for out of staters.... Here is a map:

Go all the way to the end to the park entrance, and turn left to go to the gate. Once your in the park, go through the gate, head off to the right to the park area, and you should see us setup there, as im not sure where we're going to be.

For your mapquesting pleasure: 6002 N Post Rd Indianapolis, IN

What are we doing: We will meet up at the park... We will hang out there, so bring folding chairs, football, dodgeballs, numchucks... After this, around 4-5PM, we will be caravanning down to Ryan's house, where we'll do other fun things, have some chilled beverages, and possibly engage in illegal street type activities in the area...

BRING: Drinks and food, the more the merrier.. We will have grills so we can do hotdogs, and burgers. If you want to bring brats, please bring the precooked ones. Ill have my cooler, so if you have just some drinks we can toss it in the cooler.....

Other information: If the weather is looking iffy, check back. if the meet is going to be cancelled or whatever due to weather, check the thread here. We're not going to cancel this meet unless its really miserable

Directions:

There are multiple ways to get to Ft Harrison State Park. All roads to the state park lead from either Post Road or 56th Street.

56th Street:People coming from I-65 (northbound and southbound), I-74 (westbound), and I-69 (southbound) will want to take I-465 to the eastside of Indianapolis and get off on the 56th Street /Shadeland exit. Regardless of the way you are coming from, you will want to stay in the 56th Street turn lane and head east towards Lawrence (township the state park is located in). You will turn left at the stoplight at North Post Road and 56th Street. There will be the 6 stoplights for people coming from I-465 northbound and 7 stoplights for people coming from I-465 southbound. You will head north on North Post Road and pass through three stop signs before North Post Road ends. On the left will be the entrance to Fort Harrison State Park.

Post Road:People coming from I-70 (eastbound and westbound) will want to get off on the Post Road exit and head north on Post Road. You will cross over 56th Street (there will be the Armed Forces Finance Center to your left and a Culvers Restaurant to your right). You will head north on North Post Road and pass through three stop signs before North Post Road ends. On the left will be the entrance to Fort Harrison State Park.

People coming from I-74 eastbound will follow the I-70 directions, but should take I-465 South to I-70 East.

I've got plenty of space. A pull out bed in one room and then the living room couch and chair. So I can get 4 people there and then I have plenty of floor space for anyone else who provides their own sleeping bag.
