Those "wide track" GP's handle suprisingly well I think. I've driven a GTP, and wow, thing would FLY!! My car handle's better (which isn't that great. i need wider tires and rear STB and sway bars!), but uh, what do you expect?? hehehe

Damn, this is the first I've heard about this meet. Too bad I'll be out of town that weekend. Good luck to you guys at the autox. Columbus is usually a pretty quick course!

I offically got the weekend off So I'll be there for sure. I won't have the 240 though. It's might be going out the door to someone that can do what it was meant to do. 10's in the quarter mile.

I officially won't be able to swing it guys - several reasons, not the least of which is that during last night's softball game, trying to score from 3rd I collided with the catcher and tore my ACL and shattered my right middle finger... Surgery to come this week. :(

Thanks to all who tried to encourage me to come and een offered to kick in some coin.

Yu guys are the BEST and I'm honored to be a mod on such a fine site.

Awesome! Give me a call when you get into town. You're staying at the Motel 6, right?

Guys, there are indeed clubs upon clubs. There is a little place called "Broadripple" a little ways south of where the motel is that is always cool to hang out. So many hot women I can't even begin to tell you. Tons of bars and Labamba's for after the drinking.

There is a huge bowling alley directly across the street from the motel as well as a cool little bar called "Buckets" right next to the motel. I wouldn't put you guys up in a motel out of stumbling distance from the bar! Just remember, we race on Sunday! :ylsuper

What you said is true nismodave, this meet is gonna rock! And you guys are going to make it rock.

I freaking can't wait!

Has everybody got room arrangements and things done yet? Or does somebody need a roommate to make things cheaper like me for example? Well I don't have to have one but it would just be cheaper that way. Just curious.

It would definitely be wise to pair up with people to make it cheaper. Let me know if I can assist anyone in pairing up or anything at all. I'm already putting up a couple members for the night who are not old enough to reserve a room.

You like that AZ? ;)

You can also hang out in Broadripple. There are plenty of places to go there w/o going into a bar. And you can still hang out and watch all the hot women go by.

But if that's still not your bag, I'll check and see what IRP is having that night. Some pretty good drag races go down there and it's a hell of a facility.

We'll have plenty of entertainment options for Saturday night. You guys let me know what else I need to check into and I'll set it up.
