i think i recruited a guy to come. he has a '94 maxima 5spd. runs 15.2 all day long. got cone-filter and y-pipe is it. the thing that is amazing, is it has over 150k miles. has timing chain knock like a mofo, but it is running. for all you march 8th BG meet guys, he was one of those black maxima's out there that day. he wasn't the one that kept gettin in trouble by the owner of beech bend, but the other one. lol.

Sweet Ben! I don't remember his name, but that dude was pretty cool. Older Maximas piss off people in newer cars, mainly because they kick their ARSE! I know I would be pissed if I got beat by an older Max while driving my GP.

Rubin, the Dollar Inn in Castleton is looking like a good option right now. I'm hopefully going by there tomorrow.

If I can get an address I can just go on expedia.com and get directions. I've never been to indy but I'm only like 2 hours away.

Ben, if I can swing the airfare, I can be another "responsible adult" for them to be impressed by... :rolleyes

I'll bore them to tears in the first 10 minutes. :D

Hey, check out the hotel thread. They're in there. If they are not clear, smack repo in the head and I'm sure he'll clarify. ;)

I read something about some decent speeds for the auto X. So what type of speeds we talking about? Or is it more of a road course? Thanks in advance, but I'm just curious.

It's not going to be a road course, but a longer auto-x. The faster cars will probably hit 60-70mph. It's going to be a hoot no matter what!

Rubin, the auto-x is going to be set up with cones on an airstrip. It is one of the longer autocrosses in the region, if not the longest. This is an established course that sees participation from some pretty heavy hitters, such as modded Vettes, RX-7's, Supras, etc., not to mention actual race cars.

Ben, check this thread for hotel info: http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....23332

The hotel info is linked in my first post. The auto-x will start around 9 Sunday morning for registration/tech and is actually a bit south of Indy off of I65, which is very convenient for you KY guys.

We'll meet at Tom Wood Nissan, which is directly across the street from the Motel 6 at 11am Saturday. There are plenty of things to do very near this location and it should work well for us.

If there are any additional questions, please email me at [email protected] or you can call me directly at home, 317-877-0865 or work toll-free, 800-489-4005 during the day.

And Ben, if you want me to speak directly to your dad, I will. :)
