As many of you know, I have been trying to arrange an autocross for the next big meet here in Indy. I have found that this is more difficult than I imagined. There are a couple of different options, so vote for the one you would like best. This won't be all-conclusive necessarily, but useful anyway.

Thanks!

I don't care which date we set up, but we need to choose today!!!!

Plus, I think 75 of us can chip in 20 bucks a piece.

hmm , can we make the autocross course bigger? gladdis (aka caddy) is kinda a big girl , would hate to smash cones like tinos moms sitting on twinkies

i bet all of you would pay 20 buck a peice just to see someone attempt to autocross a deville , front drive and the e brake works , i think i can do it

I've seen a first-gen Q do it. Talk about friggin' sideways! Hehe.

I've got a sweet deal set up with the SCCA if we do it June 21st. We can get our own run groups, trophy presentations, etc. Maybe we should go with that?

Well I voted the 28th but im good with a Drag strip also if the $$$ is going to be a problem.I can NOT make a meet on the 21st, but if thats whats decided im cool with missing this one.I just want some of the people who havn't made it out to get a chance to see whats up with the big NICO meets!

it's damn scary when you start sliding the rear around on a Q, especially when you're running 255's on the back! hmmm, maybe it was because i had 39 psi in the rear tires.

We cannot rely on having enough cars to cough up $1500.Even the BG event we didnt have enough w/o the other folks coming in from the local non NICO scene.

Also we never had an Indy meet yet, so its impossible to predict attendance levels.

If the autoX is 1500 that basically means we wont have one (as much as I'd also LOVE to.)

If the 21 st is much cheaper and makes it affordable it would be abetter date.

Just 2 days ago I told Rex we will make the meet on teh 28th.And we already have a much publicized thread for the 28th.And some of us have already taken time off from work for the 28th.....

I think we can do the autocross next time teh quarter mile wont cost us much beyond normal fees and we can rely on getting that (right?).

And folks al;ways enjoyed that.

I say stick with 28th despite the nice 21st opportunity.Rubin I wish u could give us even an extra 24 hrs to decide...:(

i wouldn't be able to make the 21st meet. i really want to go to this meet too. i vote for the 28th. if we dont autoX, i don't care. i wont' even drag i bet, depending on price. if i have my 5spd in by then (which i better) and the clutch is broken in, i'll run it, but not otherwise.

Lets just do a drag race, I want to see the GT-R :) Plus I'll be at the Autocross on the 21st anyways, might as well drag my car once. Run my big 17 second quarter mile. G STOCK BABY!
