ITBs on a Turbo app will have response just as good as an N/A app

i think you're wondering if ITB's on a KA-T will make more power than the stock manifold

it'll make more power if it's tuned to make more power, which it more than likely will be, but it will also allow you to run a larger plenum, which isn't necessarily beneficial...

anywho, the RB26 has ITB's, so if thats any indication of itbs and turbo excellence....

additionally ITBs should help get equal cylinder filling where as a single throttle body and a plenum will tend to disitribute more air to the first cyl, then the sec, then the third then the forth. its a small effect, but it just makes tuning alittle more difficult when number one is leaner than number 4

any change over the 20+ inch intake manifold will be an improvement, because 20 inch runners are trying to make power in the 3000 rpm range

wow his first post. ITB's all the way. rb26 if you had the $. Just think of the unreal power that a fully built rb26 can dish out. You just gota love nissan for such a fine creation. At least I do. I got way off subject but who cares I just love rb26's. they are the $hit when it comes to all the topend $hit they come with from the factory.

phil, i hate you so much, but i love your transmission... still havent put it in yet though....

alls i was sayin about the RB is that it has ITBs which make for a much better cylinder filling especially in a boosted application

what KA parts do you got left as long as we are gettng ridiculously off topic

What do you need for a ka I have all sorts of crap. I thought I was done with ka's for good but I bought that 91 hatch now I have all sorts of parts again. I used all the 95 intake in my 91 except the trottle body. I also removed a ton of emissins crap too. We will see how it runs, then I will do a right up on it and make it sticky. It would be running right now but the clutch I bought had too narow of splines on the disk and it would not fit. Dam cheap parts not fitting. You get what you pay for. I dont plan on driving it anyways it is just a project to keep me buisy while Andrew is building my rb this winter. I plan on selling it once next summer comes so I have more money to stick into my s14. I just wanted to make the silvia k's truck just to say that I have made and owned one. It shoud be a awsome drift car when I am done. Give me a jingle I have all sorts of things. what do u need. I wish I still had that engine and transmission they were as mint as you can find them. but I think starting with a 0b1 engine to swap int my 91 made it so much simpler.Get one what? ITB"S? That is up to you to make as I dont think a company sells them as a kit.
