And if you had to add brake fluid, your pads are LOW. You need to get them checked out ASAP. Also, when they go to replace the pads, make sure you tell them that you added fluid. Most places just depress the piston back into the caliper. If you've added fluid, the reservoir overflows and spills brake fluid EVERYWHERE. They will need to open the bleeders when they depress the pistons to prevent this from happening. (And if you don't know, brake fluid will eat the paint off if not clean off immediately)
