indicator lights are on

i was driving the other day and noticed that the brake light, slip light and the vdc off light are on. i thought i was just because of the extreme cold we've been having and i just read on the manual that the reason that the brake light is on is because im low on brake fluid. can that also be the cause of the other lights being on?

Brakes pads worn out.

brake fluid is probably low due to pads being worn
