aaahh sh*t... somehow I must've gotten mixed up. whats a better date for you and the other g guys? I'll see its possible to move it to another date.

EDIT** After re-reading this thread, I came to the conclusion that I just completely made up the April 12th date. I cant find any reason as to why I chose it, so how bout we say April 5th? Since that seems to work better for most people. I'll update the other thread, you wanna direct some of the other g guys to the link in my thread?

Hi fellow pistonheads. Wondered if anyone here has recommendations for a top notch mechanic and tuner with a dyno in the Indy area.

I have a friend who just moved here and needs some work on his modded 300ZX.

It would be much appreciated if someone could drop me a PM on this.

I think theres a thread in the central region that has a list of of reputable shops and tuners, I'll take a look for it. But I'd definitely like to see some pics of your boosted 335

Yeah you might get a chance to see it in person if my buddy comes to the little Indy meet you guys are having.

Seems like any of the reputable tuners on the Z32 aren't in Indiana.

is it yellow by chance? i was on 65 the other day and a souped up 300zx drove past me. no particular reason to think it was him except for the general rarity of the 300zx in these parts.

No it's red. It got here Wednesday night and we took it out for drive last night.

Got revved by a Caddy STS w/blower (from the sound of it) and Sentra.It cracks me up the sort of attention it gets.

It's running without his boost controller at the moment, so it's barely boosting but still managed to break free from a roll.

hehe just noticed you named your car Lola.

I know someone who also named their car Lola.

My 335i is named Nadia and my previous car was named Layla.

People seem to think i'm weird to name my cars. lol

This is pretty much why I sold my 240. I wanted to be able to drive across town unnoticed.

I'd be very happy with a 335i though I drove one for boob cancer last summer, and it was a religious experience for a guy like me.

Well Layla was taken from the Eric Clapton song " Layla" because she (the car) literally brought me to my knees.... LOL

As for Nadia, it just sort of fit. It was either that or Mika.

Nadia sounded more raunchy, especially since my 335i is black on red. There are other reasons as well that I won't post in case my wife see the posts. lol

Avoid MLS (Modern Speed Lab) like the plague, if they are even open any more.

Looking forward to the meet. But to the guy that needs a z32 messed with. I would give kevin at vanquish a call. Kevin and george know what they are doing and have exprience to back it. What i personally dont do on my car i call them and set something up.

I hung out w/ them both at ITB last year for a bit too...seemed like really nice guys and were more than helpful troubleshooting my RB

I've put my buddy in touch with the guys at Vanquish, although he's mulling over taking his car to one of the shops in the cincy area.

Anyway if one of the Vanquish guys show up for the Indy meet at BW3 this weekend, the car should be there.It really just needs tuned on a dyno. A/F map isn't inline with his boost, so he runs without boost at the moment just to be safe.

Kevin and George have my car under the knife right now. I know they just finished up a DSM that is going to be even more wicked fast than it was, so hopefully they can figure out my f'ed up harness that has had my car sidelined for so long.

Nice weather this month, I figured there would be lots of talk about meets and checking out hot cars.
