well both my s13 and my z32 are down for the count... I got ran off the road 2 days ago by a big black lifted dodge truck and f%#@$# my lower control arm up... Needless to say my s13 is getting the 5 lug swap sooner than expected... I think my friend doug wants to go and we might take his s13 that runs like crap but its still a 240..... So count me and him in if we take his car if not I'll be there for sure in my mazda b2200 POS truck

That's why you should ride with a 40SW, I hate those folks in massive trucks who try to run over people.

40 smith & wesson. Make them think twice about running you off the road again.

I see a couple of you backing out. I'm still planning on being there since I can throw a rock from my place to BW3's. I'm going to find a good location with a nice background to snap some good pics. Get your rides cleaned up! It's gonna be nice this weekend!

You guys need to make the meet. We need to get a NICO scene going here and stuff like this is how it starts. Plus, you can get some baller-quality pics of your cars by Evan.

I will give it a quick dusting before i leave. To bad kyle's (I smell clutch) car caught fire.....it looked baller with the wheels. My buddies car wont be finished either but he will be with us in his friends h22 civc. Its a little bit of a drive for us but its worth is for a few good pics.

Soo the meets today, I wrote a little update last night on my original post, but I doubt anyone will read it, so I'm gonna copy and paste it here:

Update! - I apologize that I haven't been able to update this or anything, but the meet is still on for tomorrow and all that. I was trying to update the list of people coming, but I just got home from work, and I have to be up at 7 for my other job. So I'm goin to sleep. And just to let people know, theres a possibility I'll be like an hour-ish late. My f*cking boss likes it up the butt and shes bein real difficult about this. But anyway, I hope you guys will be able to contain yourselves... Peace, g'night y'all!

So I guess I'll see ya guys when I get there. Its lookin like a nice day, just chilly and foggy, but its supposed to get up to 60. Peace

So, a little update before you guys get back from the meet. If there is ever a meet at BW3s, please sit in the 18+ section, not the 21+ section. I included the fact that it was an 18+ establishment for a reason. Some people (i.e. ME) cannot get into the 21+ section, I am only 19. Which kinda pisses me off considering I set the meet up, and I cant even attend it now. And I really didn't feel like sitting around outside until you guys were finished in there. Please just keep that in mind for next time, hope it turns out well. Saw a lot of nice cars out in the parking lot.

P.S. someone owes me some beer for this

Seeing how nice some of the stuff was I just kind of strayed away and parked away from the others.

I can say I had some fun besides the fact I started to get a migraine and had to head off to help family move.

Nice pics Tariq!

I had a good time at this meet. I had never met any of the people who attended so it was nice to meet some new locals. Hopefully we can get something going where all of the old schoolers and the new schoolers can get together for some fun!

As I mentioned I forgot a very important piece to my smaller tripod -- the mount that hooks up to the camera so I can dock it to the tripod. Major fail on my part. I improvised some by just holding the camera and getting creative with my taller tripod, but my magic is worked with the smaller tripod.

I haven't finished going through all of the pics I took yet because I've been pretty short on time lately. Some came out great, some came out ok, and some flat out sucked. Like I said at the meet, a night shoot should be in the works next time... Here's what I have so far:

they look damn good. why so much noise in them though? i was thinking next time we should do a dinner thing. Ideally, I'd love to get some action shots of the cars on the road and that takes more than 2 people. Man, if I had been more prepared, I would have brought my tripod. Its usually in the trunk, but i took it out the night before cause i did a series of night shots. I'd love to chat with you about your photoshopping techniques.

also, it would be fantastic if you could put these pics in an .rar file and throw them up on rapid share. I'd love to have fullsize/original copies so i can print them.

The noise came from me having a hard time adjusting the settings with the amount of sun that was out. I show in RAW format for that reason so I could toy with the pics after. All of the pics I posted so far are full-size. I'll have the unedited originals available as soon as time permits.

Give credit to my brother for the highway shots because I was driving at that time. The more I photograph, the more I realize that I suck at shooting between the hours of 10am and 5pm when it's sunny outside.

haha, yeah. those action shots would have been better with a smaller aperture but otherwise, fantastic. We should do photoshoot part 2 soon.

It was nice to meet fellow car enthusiasts at the meet, even though I didn't have a Nissan/Infiniti anymore.

It was a shame more folks didn't stick around for the cruise downtown and the photoshoot by Evan.Maybe next time I'll detail my car instead of taking it through a car wash, my rims looked nasty.

Looks like you guys had a good time! I wish I could have been there but have to work pretty much every Saturday. Perhaps next one can be on a Sunday?

Who was it that called me at work to get Evan's number? Did you find them?

Haha its all good man, I didn't lose any sleep over it. I would've at least come up to you guys and said something, but the dude near the door was being surprisingly gay about it, I guess he thought I was tryin to drink or something. But yea, BW3s is normally a pretty good spot, especially with the parking lot and the fact its real close to 465. Anyway, I'd definitely love to make it out to another, especially after I pick up my new car so I'd like to see another one get put together by someone else.

Anyway, looks like it turned out pretty nicely, glad the guys who made it had a good time!
