What is NICO up to tomorrow?

Tonight I will prepare the 13lb beef brisket and finish cleaning house.

Image

Get up early tomorrow and start smoking the brisket.

Haul the arsenal out of the gun safe(s) and enjoy a family shooting day in the back yard. I think I'll set up a friendly target competition, and maybe invite the new neighbors. Then clean everything, they all need a once-over.

Image

Relax in pool with a beer or two.

Nom smoked brisket, beer brats, and some other goodies.

And most importantly, remember those patriots that sacrificed everything to free us from tyrannical government.

Image

...then set off a s*** of fireworks. ( I have more in the attic somewhere)

Image

Short of wrenching on a muscle car that I don't have, I can't think of anything more American to do. Any thoughts?

At any rate, I'll be over at my Dad's house grilling something, drinking rum, and trying to talk him into purchasing a Citroen DS. It should be a pretty good day.

Get some real fireworks dude! Those are for kids!

As a family tradition on the 4th, I always fly back to Kansas City. My whole family lives there and we always get together. We eat, and blow s*** up. I don't have pics of this year's fireworks, but here's last year's.

Fireworks were not in the budget this year, that about the best $80 would get. I'll tell you though, sky rockets are overrated. Mortars are where it's at. I see you got a reloadable tube and some decent cakes, must have looked good.
