Whats up! I've been reading up on this post for quite some time now and I finally decide to join NICO.

I've been trying to figure this out but couldnt find a How-To for it.I was wondering how I could have my fog lights light up independantly when I turn the fog light switch without having to turn on the headlights.I'm a noob when it comes to cars so could you explain in full detail on the setup. Maybe even pictures? haha

the fog lights are wired through the headlight circuit, so take it off of that and get it an ignition powered 12v source and theyre independent

Wheres the headlight circuit located on a 97? Will I be able to get an ignition powered 12v source at my local car parts shop?

WOW... ok yo don't buy an ignition 12volt source....ya see when you turn your ke on things light up, everything that lights up or has power with the key on has a 12 volt ignition power source, there are pleny 12 volt sources under the hood maby in a relay box.... um ... a relay box is a little black box with a whole bunch of fuses and such, if you have a DVOM (Digital Volt and Ohm Meter)... or a multimeter.. or maby just a 12volt test light will do it. you need to attach the clip of the light to a ground and poke the little leaves of the connectors to test them and if it lights up with the key on and doesn't with the key off then there you go, just don't jam things in places they don't belong like the test light all you need to do is touch the coupler and it's all good...

...just in case...here is a diagram I've obtained.through my magic tree
