I've been searching Ebay Motors recently, and I have found some amazing deals on Infinitis'. If you have found any low priced Infinitis', post a link and/or pictures here.

This thread could help all Infiniti Nico members.

I'll start. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

this could be used as either a parts car or a daily driver.

Since these listings all will expire soon after posting, I am not sure it is worth the server space (especially in light of the recent costly intrusions) to post every for sale Infiniti here. After all, most do know how to search Ebay, Cars, Autotrader and other sites.

Some of us with less-than-mint Q45s and less-than-ample budgets have been searching for a group parts car for months now. We've come close a couple times.

If you dont like it, dont read it.

Here's something. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

Maybe you could use it to run into things.

Just keep wasting someone else's server space, eh?

Maybe we should move this thread to q45.org! Now there's an idea!

I need seats, trim pieces, electronics, and more. Unless youre parting out your Q so the rest of us can gut it, I strongly suggest getting over it.

Also, Q45.org will not have a forum outside of NICO. This is a decision I made when I bought the domain. The whole purpose of the site is to take important information from NICO and make it easier to find. We are all fond of that handy red button, but having to hit it for every last bit of redundant information gets tedious after a while. Half the content at Q45.org consists of symptoms with direct links to NICO threads for solutions.

Didnt I make a whole thread about this issue quite a while ago?

Hmmm ... but ... wasn't the general consensus at that time that we should use the NICO Articles section for this information?

Also, fwiw, from the title of this thread, I thought that it had something to do with Infiniti sales skyrocketing somehow (which would be a good thing, of course! :) ). I certainly did not realize that it had to do with eBay sales! :)

A verbal agreement exists where content on NICO and Q45.org can be mirrored back and forth with proper credit to the original authors.Q45.org's Tech Help and Advice sections are a mix of original content and direct links to threads. The information is much the same, but I strongly prefer my own method of organization.

Q45.org is not for profit. Its for utility. I give more bandwidth and storage away to NICO members than a few ebay-related threads have supposedly "wasted."

I cant believe there's been so much controversy. Its silly.

Ahh, true! Here's a semi-decent read about summer sales results for Nissan:

http://www.nissan-global.com/E....html

Its rather amazing. As Ford loses some market share, GM, Nissan, and Toyota make significant gains. Nissan especially. Not only is Nissan selling more cars and trucks than ever, more Americans are buying cars overall.

I mirror what Jesda said, but lets make light of this situation...

The information on NICO is not in anyway copywrited.. While it is unethical to "take" information from this site, what we are doing is certainly not illegal. This is a public forum, and really anyone could come and "take" the information for their own uses, and theres not really anything they can do about it (besides a good arse kicking :) )

But Q45.org is just like how 240sx.org got started... They are affiliated with NICO, all the information is on their site, but everything bleeds back down to NICO..... I view Q45.org as a small appedage (please no comments on that) from NICO...

Basically, since so far Ive written some of the articles, we are looking to make Q45.org THE infiniti articles section, meaning they will be one in the same (or at least hvae the same content). ANy information here on NICO we are free to use, and anything on Q45.org NICO is free to use... Its that simple.....

Funny how you guys dont even mention Carlos's site, with a nice compilation of information which I thikn is about the same sa Q45.org......

Now, lets get on with this thread.....

Here's my stance on eBay links... I wouldn't be driving "Q2" if someone on NICO hadn't pointed it out with a link back in 2001. When I have time, I do a daily "Q45" keyword search on eBay - but there are periods when I'm too busy.

As far as the bandwidth argument - I leave that issue up to the owners of the board. If it's an issue, I'm sure they'll say something and we'll go from there. When comparing the Infinti forums to the other areas of NICO, I'd say we have the highest percentage of substantive discussion - so if there's a waste of bandwith, we're a drop in the bucket.

Maybe we could come up with some sort of gentleman's agreement to always put "... on eBay" or "... in AutoTrader" in the subject line so that those of us who don't want to be bothered with links can just skip them?
