Increasing E-Brake Tension

After changing my rear brakes and bleeding them several times my e-brake cable must be pulled to the very apex to engage. Is there a way to increase cable tension so that it doesn't take pulling it allt he way to the top??? Thanks guys!

Yeah there is a 10mm nut under the e-brake handle. Pull the handle up about 6-8 clicks and tighten that thing until it is were you feel the brakes working.
