I need information on stiffener bars that attach to the door hinge and run up to a point close to the top of the strut tower. It forms a triangle. I got interested in this after viewing a video of a Dyno run and in slow motion. 435rwhp was really flexing the body in the firewall area. The deflection was really extreme.

I found a site that was disscusing, in detail, stiffening up 240sx's in several areas and had a section on this trangle stiffener. . Bookmark, lost, nowhere to be found. GRRRRRRRRR! Thanks for any help.

Which parts are you referring to specifically?Strut bar?Nismo power brace?Fender brace?

I would recommend a triangular bar as you seem to have found somewhere else, in addition to fender braces. The Nismo power brace should tighten things up nicely as well, but I'd do that after the aforementioned braces. Most of this stuff has been tried, and detailed on FreshAlloy, BTW.

What chassis was in the dyno video?

Nismo Power Brace attaches on the underside of the car and ties the forward mounting points of the T/C rods together.. I think he's referring to a Fender Brace, which can be found at SPL parts among other places. nissanperformancemag.com installed a set on their KA 240 project, I can't remember what month/year that was though.
