1991 Q45 inconsistency in starting. I've searched and found one helpful answer ( pressing gas pedal 3/4 down prior to turning key) BUT it doesn't work every time. Getting very frustrated. Turn key and lights on dash come on, but just get a "hum" sound when turn the key. No "click click" sound like a dead battery. Finally had to jump the car and it started immediately without hesitation. Drives beautifully, CD player, lights, seats and windows, radio, AC all work. Connected the battery charger when I got home and showed 1/2 discharged, but fully charged after about 5 mins.Battery is 3 years old. Should I replace it or ???

I would have the battery tested... At three years old I would think it's suspect. I typically get 2-3 years out of mine...

Thanks guys. I was thinking in that same direction. Will do, and more than likely replace the battery. Appreciate your input!!
