Inbuilt Sat Nav Updates

Hi,

I am new to this forum and I am happy to know that there are Nissan owners out there with loads of knowlegde!

I have just purchased a Nissan Almera 2.2 DCI SXE and am very happy with her, although I would like to know how do I go about updating the in built sat nav system?

I have heard that it can cost a small fortune if you go to a Nissian dealer for the update but surley there is an other way?

That's pretty much your only legal option. You might be able to torrent it from somewhere but I wouldn't even know where to start looking. The roads don't change that much so it's not really a big deal.
