I have a 1990 240sx coupe with a ca18det swap metric gauges which worked fine up until recently. The tach showed true until recently and it started jumping on me and shooting to redline, the really messed up thing is that my 97 200sx se-r just started doing the same thing. Im just curious if anybody else has experienced this and how to go about fixing it. Any and all help/pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks, Anthony

Same here. My last s13 did that and I checked everything and ended up having to replace it. i supect there is a bad solder joint somewhere that causes this, but I sold the car before I ever got a chance to investigate it.
