I've had my 90' 240SX for about two months now, and the awesome engine that is the KAE is going out, along with the transmission. I'm looking at R32 Skyline front end for the RB20DET. I'm sixteen, not exactly incompatent around tools. My brother who rebuilt his 280Z would definately help along with an erray of freinds. In your opinions how hard of a swap is it. And what are some specifics I would need to change to make the engine work correctly.

Thanks

Its not about the experience, it's about the money. If youhave it, do it. If you don't, then you can't anyhow.

How much do you figure this swap to cost if I already have the front clip?

Mounts, Plugs, Fluids, Timing Belt, Clutch, Resurfacing flywheel, plus all sorts of unforseeable problems.

For a first timer, I'd definitely suggest the SR. It's the same displacement, lighter, and easier to install.
