Okay, now I know that there are a couple of Canadians that can drive. Probably only two or three of them, but...

It has been three days in a row now that I have had the displeasure of being behind a car with "Beautiful British Colombia" plates. These a$$ feel the need to s*** the left lane. Good ole Canuky lane monitors. One of these f**ksocks had the nerve to shake his finger at me, flash his high beams rapidly after passing him. I was doing 68 in a 60. Not like I was setting a land speed record. Anyways, if you're going to come to my country, and drive the left lane, step on it, otherwise GTFO.

Why are there so many minivans? I mean I know you all are on vacation to the land of bad people, but really, why all the minivans? It's not like they are driving nice minivans either. It's the real POS vans like the Ford Windstar. Do you get some kind of moose and snow discount from the "big three" on the s*** they can't hock off on the Americans?

Is this normal in Canuk land? I mean Washington drivers are some of the worst I have ever seen, but the Canadians have this state beat in the suck department.

It's not just Canadians, I see it all the time people doing the speed limit in the left lane. THE LEFT LANE IS THE PASSING LANE!!! It's understandable, all through drivers ed not once did I hear them talk about the use of lanes.

im afraid its not just Canada. Seems half the drivers in the US skipped missed the "Left lane for passing" part on their driving test.

Ha ha ha Beaner...that wasn't near as bad as I was getting ready to read.

I've never been to BC, so I can't comment on their driving. I know it's country and mountains for the most part so they probably loaft when they drive.

But here in Toronto on our 400 series highways, like anywhere you get the odd idiot on a Sunday drive in the left lane. But for the most part, if your not doing at least 125km's (77mph) an hour, your going to have people hanging off your bumper.

And the minivans :gotme I assume it's because they're on vacation and rented..

Im from Vancouver, and moved to NY from there around 6 years ago. I go there every summer. Its not the blood Canadians that are the problem, it's the immigrants. Not trying to be racist but Vancouver has a HUGE Asian population and they are horrible drivers. They think they have the right away all the time and are the cause of many of Vancouver's accidents.

Why are there so many minivans? No clue. You are right though, there are more Ford Windstars and Dodge Caravans there then in the United States.

I'm from Toronto...traffic's a b**** there. Especially on 401, even on the express lane. Clogs up real bad near Don Valley Parkway. That was 2 years ago. I'm moving back next year, hopefully it's not as bad.

Locomotion is necessary for all of the undead, even the very hoarding. What do I want you to do with this information? Store it away for future use, just not in a minivan.

I grew up in BC and I'm surprised those left lane campers haven't been broken of the habit. If you do that around Vancouver, you'll have someone on your bumper in no time. Out here in Saskatchewan, nobody uses the left lane. When I moved from BC, I was surprised to see everyone going single file in the right lane. I'm guessing it's related to the fact that most highways areound here are only 2 lane so it's habit to stay right unless you're passing. (btw... passing in a 68HP E16 powered Pulsar is scary :ohno: )

It's even worse for crap cars in Saskatchewan. Crapaliers/Sunfires, Grand Ams and the like are everywhere. It's really noticeable how outnumbered Japanese cars are when you go to the wrecking yard. The biggest local wrecking yard is divided into 5 sections: GM, Ford, Chrysler, Import and Truck.

Keep in mind that you forgot to install the Canadian Bacon launcher on the roof. Them suckers go for it like a hooker after a $20 blow job.

yea. Vancouver is filled with compact cars. There is a very little amount of full size SUV's such as suburbans. Instead of having Crown Victoria's as taxis in Vancouver, they use Corollas, Prius's, Luminas, Malibus, Impalas, Buick Regals, Pontiac Montanas, Chevrolet Astros, camrys, dodge caravans and yea.

meh, i've long given up on the left-lane-is-for-passing concept. whenever i see the opportunity to pass you and your turtle speed driving, i'm passing. And seriously? No Crown Vic taxies? The horror!!!

It's because import cars cost much more in Canada than they do here while american cars there cost roughly the same as here. That's the reason american cars outnumber imports in Canada (in my experience driving in Ontario)

Canadians love minivans, possibly because they build them.
