Post

Hello, I'm new here. I just bought a brand new 2010 Nissan Versa 1.8s Sedan on Saturday. I got it home and found out that the tire tools were missing. So, back to the dealer I go. I get back home and notice that the Passenger door power lock switch doesn't work. I made an appointment for today and after 1 1/2 hours, I get a loaner car because they cannot figure it out.

WOW, what a way to start out with my first ever New car. It had 12 miles on it. Now it is more like 70.

Sorry to hear that your new car is having problems. Is it just the power door lock switch that they are having trouble fixing, or did other problems arise?

Hopefully it's just a one time thing.Mine will be 2 years old this Friday, and not one problem (besides the fuel pressure regulator), and I'm at 32K.

Yep Both of my jobs are downtown in the city, not far for me at all ...

My brother's 6 month old SE-R already has 15+K ... He'll pass me in no time.

I'm glad I have low mileage, she's still a baby.

I know I'm getting off topic, and I apologize for that, but Versa coupe? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a couple basically a two door car?

Before we cast blame on your problem, let's figure out what the problem was. Don't snap judge that you hate the car yet. We have some good people working on it, and it's not at your dealership.

Wow you must have had tons of problems if your putting it down that much.

If it's that much of a pain why don't you just get rid of it? Trade it in?

I have had one problem ... and that was the Fuel Pressure Regulator. That was fixed the first time I told my dealership and it's been trouble free since.

Well, today I went to the dealer to tell them I did not get the tow bolt and they went through about 12 NEW cars that were ALL missing the thing. Finally, after 1 1/2 hours they found one to give me. I hope never to need it, But I dang sure paid for one. And I wanted it..

frysterio, my V is awesome and the few times I have taken it in, they've figured out the problem right away and replaced everything under warranty. I've never had a significant problem though. 19k miles on it!
