Idk how but I think some are still being produced in some of the dealer’s warehouses: on a very limited basis. I just ordered and received a right hand one from a US source online. My local area also said they had 2 available, but it would have been $600 versus the $400. I still need to find the left hand side. but it’s mainly my right that’s blown.

Amayama and Part Souq haven’t had anything available lately to ship and the damn political situation has made it hard to get anything shipped here. So, just a reminder to check around…the part numbers are a bit different and it can be a hassle trying to find online but they’re out there.

Regardless, I still think we need to team up and see if any after market companies can be willing to work with Infiniti and make some available. Why sell the rears for cheap, but then screw us over on the fronts.

I think the most economical, albeit slightly more labor intensive way to go is the KYB SR Specials from Japan. I have 3 years and close to 20,000 miles on mine and I'm happy with them. They survived after I unintentionally sent the car airborne in Omaha.

lol airborne holy smokes haha.

I have looked at the KYB specials thread and even the Infiniti inserts as well. But I don’t have the ability to compress springs and what not to do it myself. And being this is something I’d take to local shops, I don’t want to give them more work than necessary because they’ll charge for every minute more that they have to do. And if it doesn’t come out right, I’ll have to spend more.

So I just try to bring the most complete parts. Even just putting together the strut at all is kinda extra work. I’m already running into issues with the strut mount I received, and the boots too which have no hardware.

Wish I could just receive the whole piece and not just pieces of it
